Maths practice
Practice programs are five short programs developed for independent use by children on stand-alone computers in classrooms, in computer suites or at home. They are:
- Angle challenge: measure and estimate angles
- Empty box: put the correct number in the empty box to complete the calculation
- Number challenge: change the calculation to make the target number
- Number strength: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Scale challenge: read scales and find the target point on the scale
Each program allows the user to set
- the number of questions they wish answer
- the difficulty level
- whether or not to see a timer
When all the questions have been answered pupils can generate a report which shows their scores, which questions they got right or wrong, the answers they gave and how long they took to answer each questions. The report can be printed out as a record.
