Interactives for learning: Weather station
Weather station is a teaching tool developed for the Yorkshire and Humber Grid for Learning (YHGfL) as part of its weather station resources.
Vantage Pro2 Plus weather stations have been installed in various locations around the YHGfL region and their data can be accessed by pupils through the internet.
The screen-shot shows the software which uses diagrams and animation to explain how the weather station's sensors operate.
Weather station was written in Adobe® Flash® and is run through a data-projector on an interactive whiteboard.
