The Learning ConnectionartistsPrimary projects

Ideas and Resources to support a Primary Project about artists using the Internet.

Information.

Artists is a very popular subject for authors and writers. There are many books about artists. Your local library will probably have a good selection of books (and maybe CD-ROMs) to choose from. Your school library is also a good place to look. If you are looking for good sources of information, which are not too difficult to read, why not print out the list from the Resources page

It's difficult to see original works of famous artists. Because they are worth so much, only large galleries such as The National Gallery and The Tate Gallery in London can afford them.

Possibly the best place to see them at all is on the web.

Look at the museum and gallery sites below to see lots of paintings.
