Ideas and Resources to support a Primary Project about artists using the Internet.
Ideas
There have been many famous artists and many different styles of paintings from the time of cave paintings to the present day. People have always enjoyed having attractive and challenging images around them. We can also learn much from art about the lives and ideas of people at different times throughout history.
Children can find out about artists from a range of resources, including stories, information books, television and film and now by using a computer to look at CD-ROMs and the World Wide Web.
The Resources section lists useful examples of books and software and the Links section points to valuable World Wide Web sites.
Starting from questions.
Below are many questions which could be used as the starting point for children's enquiries into different aspects of the lives of artists.
